Maryland Congressman Steny Hoyer's Ameripac similarly gave money to the same members of Congress.
The National Leadership PAC (Rep. Charles Rangel) the NEW DEMOCRAT COALITION PAC, and Obama's HOPE FUND PAC donated an average of $10,000 to these same representatives. These representatives got a lot of pressure to endorse Obama no matter which way their district or state voted. The voices of their constituents were irrelevant.

Pelosi gave money to the campaigns of 38 superdelegate members of Congress, 28 of these endorsed Obama (3 to 1). These Obama endorsers received more money ($250,000 vs $80,000). Money talks and members of Congress were fully aware that Pelosi supported Obama.
16 of these 28 superdelegates endorsed Obama even though their state and district voted for Hillary Clinton.
Pelosi's contributions to the campaigns of state representatives followed a similar pattern: 63% of the state representatives to whom Pelosi gave money, endorsed Obama in a state won by Clinton.

If Hillary had run in 2004 but Kerry still had gotten the nomination would you have voted for Bush? Will you subject this nation to another 4 years of Bush-style policies out of spite for Obama? And in hopes that the only true candidate can run in 2012 (assuming we still have a democracy then)? Why don't you just write-in Dick Cheney instead? COMNTSMF (Cutting Off My Nose To Spite My Face) might be a better acronym for this movement but if McCain is elected because of your abandoning the Democratic party you will be forever known as PUMAs (Pushed Up My Ass!). Bill certainly believes in a cult of personality but I doubt Hillary really does. I would love for her to be the first female President of the United States but I think it's pretty stupid (and selfish) to try to ruin any chance of a Democratic presidency until she's the only candidate. I'm a Democrat, not a Obama-maniac but I don't want another 4 years of right-wing disasters!
People want to move on but I think Media Matters. George Soros is evil and he went above and beyond corrupting this years democratic campaign. Any success resulting from his inappropriate meddling will actually set the democratic party back far more than the results of this selection, and that is what many panicky democrats do not want to acknowledge.
This is called "politics." Hillary - or any politician - is only as powerful as the votes and _money_ she can deliver. To the extent that Pumas deliver all four of their votes and their $20 in contributions to another party, they decrease her power in government.
Better than that money going to Barack Obama.
